A graduate of South Broward High School, Hollywood Florida, Clementine "CC" Conde has a diverse area of experience helping citizens protect their rights. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science from the University of Miami, Coral Gables, Florida and her Juris Doctor from Western New England College of Law, Springfield, Massachusetts.
Clementine "CC" Conde interned at a Disability Law Clinic in Northampton, Massachusetts. She also served as Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Michael Salmon in the Eleventh Judicial Circuit, Dade County, Florida. Her responsibilities included research and assisting with the writing of criminal appeals for a three judge panel.
CC has sixteen (16) years of criminal defense experience serving as an Assistant Public Defender for the Sixth Judicial Circuit, Pasco County, Florida. CC has also represented citizens in civil commitment hearings and has served as a legal guardian.
CC has tried over one hundred and twenty (120) jury trials including Capital Murder, Capital Sexual Battery and DUI Manslaughter. CC has also tried many complex felonies including aggravated felonies and domestic violence. She has also handled thousands of misdemeanor cases including license suspensions, battery and worthless checks, as well as probation violations hearings. CC also represents citizens on all traffic infractions.
CC was voted "Attorney of the Year" 2005 for the Sixth Circuit Judicial Public Defenders Office.
CC has also served as an Instructor for Evidence and Trial Practice at Pasco-Hernando Community College, New Port Richey, Florida. She also was a Volunteer Magistrate for Teen Court, Pasco County, Florida and a Volunteer Counselor for Judges In Schools Drop Out Prevention program, Pasco County, Florida. She also volunteers to speak to middle and high school students about the practice of law.
Ms. Conde has been married to Attorney Michael A. Tewell for twelve years. They have one child.
